Description

The Model 4810 gaging module is a stand-alone, non-contact displacement measurement gage with an analog display of probe displacement on the front panel. Operating on the principle of capacitance, the 4810 offers unparalleled resolution (as little as 0.050 nm) and bandwidth.

The passive design of the Series 2800 probes makes this an ideal candidate for measurement applications in difficult-to-reach areas or in vacuum. Ultra High stability versions of the system are available which offer stability of better than a part in 25,000 over 6 months. The 4810 is also ideally suited for making very high precision non-contact thickness measurements.

The 4810 provides analog output via a BNC jack on the front panel for easy connection to oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers or computer-based A/D boards. The easy-to-read front panel display makes the 4810 an ideal production tool for operations requiring visual verification of measurements.

A rack-mount version of this instrument, the Model 4800, is also available. The 4800 conforms to standard EuroCard dimensions and has been designed to fit easily into the Microsense II Model 5300 Gaging Console.
